My practice focuses in the areas of commercial real estate and real estate finance, including retail and office leasing, commercial lending, loan restructurings and workouts, acquisitions and dispositions, and real estate development. I represent domestic and international financial institutions, real estate development companies, owners, lenders, purchasers, and landlords in transactions involving office towers, hospital and other medical and professional buildings, shopping centers, industrial warehouses, condominium and planned unit developments, apartment projects, and mixed-use facilities. I frequently represent financial institutions in commercial real estate and complex business/corporate loan transactions. I also handle the restructuring of troubled loans and loan workouts involving real estate and advise lenders and borrowers in all aspects of commercial lending, including conventional and mezzanine lending, loan syndications, construction and permanent loans, multi-state financing transactions. I also draft and negotiate leases, amendments and lease terminations on behalf of landlords and tenants for office, retail, industrial, warehouse and mixed-use facilities. I have negotiated leases with national credit, regional and local tenants, for spaces ranging in size from anchor boxes to small bays in retail centers, and for an entire office building to individual office space leases.
