May 2014 - Promoted to Vice President of Siemens Specialized Engineering Software (SES). December 2011 - Vistagy was acquired by Siemens and is now a separate business segment called Specialized Engineering Software. As part of the Siemens integration my role expanded to include all product management activities.April 1995 - Joined 3 others as the 4th principal member of Composite Design Technologies. I started as an application engineer and gradually switched to product development role as our company grew. In the late 1990's my title was changed to Vice President of Product Development and became responsible for defining direction and development of all of our products.In 2001 Composite Design Technologies name was changed to Vistagy to expand our product offerings beyond composites. Since that time we have released SyncroFIT, Mastertrim and the Quality Planning Environment and built a multi-OS and multi-CAD framework called EnCapta to build and deploy our products on.While at Draper Laboratories I was a team leader for research and development of new cost-effective manufacturing processes. My responsibilities included identifying customer requirements, conceptualizing automated and semi-automated mechanisms to improve cost effectiveness and designing and implementing system controls software.
