Responsible for operations, purchasing, logistics and quality Optical lamps has operation facilities in Turnhout/Belgium, Songzi/Hubei/China, Pont a Mousson/France, Aachen/Germany and Los Angeles/USAAs supply manager I was directly responsible for the production in Turnhout/Belgium, the operation in Hubei/China, quality , logistics and the purchasing of the Business Line.Next to above, during this period I initiated en implemented 2 major projects• Reallocation of Main Voltage Halogen lamps from PaM/France to Songzi/Chinao the set-up of a special lighting activity in Songzi/China, incl the organizational set-up, local infrastructure, build-up and transfer of equipment from PaM, product release and start-up of deliveries. Localization of components. Purpose to create an integral margin of >30% iso the negative integral margin in PaM/France.o Approval of BG Automotive for Special Lighting activities in Songzi/China• Also for HID lamps a business case was made and approved for the transfer of a part of the Turnhout production to Philips Shanghai, also here the purpose was to create a 30-40% integral margin whereas the IM in Turnhout was negative. Strategy was to create an industrial platform for further transfer/cost reduction. I was involved until a project leader for industrial implementation took this over in the new organization end 2008
