  Retired from clinical work as Integrated Respiratory Physician in December 2014.This was a service that I had personally developed, having worked previously as a combined general/respiratory/geriatric physician, and later as a community geriatrician with inpatient respiratory workload. I was clinical director for intermediate care and rehabilitation services from 1998 to 2006, developing a variety of rehabilitation services. In 2011, I became a whole-time respiratory physician specialising in home oxygen services, pulmonary rehabilitation and community respiratory services.Since retirement I have worked on a voluntary basis on the smoke free agenda.
