Executive Vice President Of Operations
Current• Over 20 years senior-level management experience• Manages the day to day operation of a 167-acre sports facility with over 600 seasonal employees.• Develops and manages 13 department budgets that exceed $40 million annually.• Responsible for the financial performance of the following departments: Dining, Beverages/Bars, Concessions, Catering/Groups Sales, Parking, Customer Service, Box Office/Admissions, Programs, State Off Track Betting Locations, Jockeys Quarters, Gift Shop/Retail, Pari-Mutuel Wagering and Housekeeping.• Manages capital funding requests of up to $500,000 annually.• Hires, trains and evaluates mid-management level staff.• Solicits bids and prioritizes all Capital Improve Projects at the facility.• Negotiates contracts and agreements with contractors and vendors.• Establishes operational objectives and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinate managers.• Developments corporate company policy and is responsible for its implementation.• Involved in the design and project management of all facility upgrades.• Maintains a world class customer experience at venue. • Assists in the development of annual Marketing plans.• Responsible for Crisis and Risk Management at the facility.• Represents organization at professional and business functions.
