Assigned to various projects meant to further support and enhance this fledgling organization whose mission is to partner with and strengthen its neighboring communities. Ubuntu, in Zulu, is sometimes translated as “I am because we are” or “humanity towards others”.· Identified relevant grants and secured funding to support an oral health pop-up event that will provide 100 community members with free teeth screenings and cleanings.· Developed a proposal for community education courses designed to engage and help 120 local residents become stronger leaders and advocates.· Lead the efforts with internal stakeholders in support of programmatic activities and team deliverables.· Developed a 12-week internship curriculum to maximize intern learning opportunities.

· Organized a documentary film screening to encourage change efforts around anti-homeless policies.· Researched funding opportunities for filmmakers, external partnership opportunities, and local venues that would support film screenings and secured funding for filmmakers.· Organized a summit in Washington DC to promote filmmakers' collaboration efforts with national organizations who wanted to use the film to further social justice-related advocacy work.

· Organized canvassing efforts, including collaborating with sister districts, in support of a State Representative’s reelection campaign.· Supported additional fundraising events in support of the same candidate.

· Established effective communication among staff and organization leadership, reducing miscommunications and missed deadlines.· Cultivated and strengthened lasting client relationships with home-building vendors. Through strong issue resolution, retained 100% of our client base during the whole course of my tenure.· Developed and implemented productivity initiatives that increased the number of customers served by 50 percent.
