Required the demonstration of knowledge in many aspects of accounting. The primary functions I was responsible for were to generate/create financial statements, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, reconciling a variety of accounts, preparing period-end journal entries, maintaining financial schedules, running payroll, advising/consulting with clients, and providing exceptional bookkeeping services. I would also aid in performing various accounting processes for Workmosis, Workmosis Power, and the Student Assistance Foundation. Student Assistance Foundation is the parent company of Workmosis Power, and Workmosis is a DBA of the Student Assistance Foundation. I also took part in research to develop business strategies.

My primary duties included Accounts Payable, Payroll Processing, and Benefits Reconciliation. I verified invoices and entered them into QuickBooks Online. I digitize checks into a computer system and ensure they are organized for when our annual audit takes place. Using the payroll system Paychex, I transfer hours worked for over 60 employees onto a spreadsheet where I verify total amounts of different types of paid/non-paid hours. I ensure that there is direct correlation between the spreadsheet and the payroll software. The Controller looks over the payroll before submission. For benefits reconciliation, I must account for any differences between the company statement, and the earnings & deductions register which is generated from our payroll software. This requires ample attention to detail. Minor job fuctions include verifying client information and billing through a software called, Credible. I issue statements of different types relating to clientele. I also enter various types of information for new employees or employees that resign.
