Starting out in consultative advertising sales after completing my Degree-B.S. Business Administration with a marketing and management emphasis projected me in the direction of a career I love. The first 7 years of my career consisted of Marketing and Advertising in the form of print. Understanding the industry helped me be a better sales person that was further shaped and molded with extensive training in the field and out. With the further interest of wanting to help businesses succeed in their marketing efforts, the next 11 years of my career consisted of Brand Image Development at GBC as it relates to Information Packaging. Working with mid sized to large regional companies, I further developed my skills in brand image solutions by helping with rebranding efforts and working closely with Directors of marketing from large companies. Another part of my experience at GBC encompassed large print finishing equipment which gave me a great understanding of selling technical solutions. Further experience involved more print/digital advertising and marketing. And finally moving into the Imaging and Print Industry with Konica Minolta, giving me a great understanding of very high tech equipment and printing/scanning solutions. This position considerably helped with the growth and execution of my consultative sales skills. With the responsibility of doing in depth analysis of printing environments in large facilities and proposing solutions, I've learned a great deal. Extensive training from Konica Minolta and Martin Group Peers has given me the tools to be a consultant and ultimately a solutions provider.
