Although based in Wales, UK, I have worked in many parts of the world in a number of sectors including education, sport, tourism, infrastructure, NGOs, food and entertainment.After a few years lecturing, I moved into management and for the next 20 years operated at senior management level in a number of UK further and higher education colleges. I have worked with students and staff at all levels from basic vocational skills through to research degrees. I am a Director/Owner of two successful companies in the UK, in the food (Gower View Foods Ltd) and sports sectors. The sports company, (Reech Sports Ltd) has a partner company in India (Mumbai) with actor and sports personality, Samir Kochar. Both the UK and Indian sports companies work with government bodies and sports organisations. The sports company works on infrastructure projects, as well as human capital development and has a particular interest in disability sport. Whilst in the education sector, my passion was managing student support services, which included marketing/PR, admissions, on-course support and progression. I was responsible for the Colleges’ international student recruitment strategy and operation. This aspect of my work took me overseas and particularly to India, China and the Middle East, where I now have many strong working relationships but most importantly, friendships.I have been been a member of a number of national organisations and government advisory bodies.I also have a consultancy and business development company, with an office in Jaipur – ‘Robert Davies Associates UK Ltd’. I was a platform speaker at the FICCI World Skills Summit and FICCI Sports Summit .I have been able to combine my work with a great passion for sport. I am a former International Rugby Referee. I work with World Rugby, EPCR, Pro14 and WRU as a match officials’ selector, coach and performance reviewer. I am a licensed Red2Blue Performance Coach, which supports the development of skills to perform under pressure.An exciting project that I was involved in recently was as the Consultant to the Producer, Prashant Shah, on his Bollywood Hollywood Production, 'Jungle Cry', starring Abhay Deol and Emily Shah. This won the best film at Dada Saheb Phalke Award 2021- India's highest award in the field of cinema.I am a highly committed individual whose passion is people from all over world.
