Bob has over 45 years of hands on experience in the civil/transportation/infrastructure field on a wide range of projects for public clients in the NYC metro area including NYSDOT, NYSTA, NYCDOT, NYCDEP, PANYNJ, MTA Metro-North Railroad, MTA NYC Transit, Connecticut Department of Transportation, Westchester County Department of Public Works and others. He is presently Construction Manager of a 35 mile Superstorm Sandy resiliency project along 35 miles of a commuter rail line in New York State. Bob has a wide range of experience in the design and construction of horizontal and vertical projects including: Streets and highways, site/civil master planning, design-build tenders, infrastructure (sewers and water mains), traffic engineering, surface and structured parking, state-of-good-repair projects for heavy commuter rail facilities, rapid response to emergent situations, institutional facilities, water treatment facilities, maintenance and protection of traffic, construction inspection/management and related areas of responsibilities.He has extensive experience with the MTA Metro-North Railroad and NYC Transit for design and consultant construction management projects in New York City and Westchester County.He has international experience with the US Army Corps of Engineers supporting in-country engineering activities in Afghanistan, Iraq (two assignments) and Mozambique, East Africa. He has also managed design-build assignments for the USAF supporting the surge in 2009 in Afghanistan. These assignments required Department of defense Secret clearance.Bob is a licensed Professional Engineer in the States of New York (1984) and Louisiana (2009) and is currently applying to re-activate his CT PE license. He was recognized with a Certificate of Appreciation by Ambassador Paul Bremmer of the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) Program Management Office (PMO), Baghdad, Iraq.
