Currently employed as Interim Executive Director Operations (Country), responsible for the strategic and tactical management of ambulance services across regional South Australia. Leading a multi disciplinary team responsible for tactical, operational and administrative management of 1,500 clinicians and support staff working across 100 sites statewide I am responsible to the Chief Executive Officer of SA Ambulance Service (SAAS) for operational and strategic outcomes. I am a member of the Executive Leadership Team and a number of senior governance committees supporting SAAS’ activities as well as chairing the Operations Workforce Planning Group and Service Delivery Industrial relations Consultative Group.Additionally I provide operational, tactical and demand management oversight for the state of SA as part of the On Call Executive Director team, focussing on demand manamangent across the state including the flow of patients into the major hospitals across the Adelaide Metropolitan Health Networks.Country Operations diverse workforce includes paid and volunteer staff with over 200 non operational staff. This requires a sound and effective approach to human resource management as well as clinical leadership and strong strategic planning and implementation activities.I have extensive experience as an Operations Manager with a demonstrated history of effective leadership and management in the health, wellness and emergency environment. Skilled in Negotiation, Business Planning, Operations Management, Coaching, Recruitment and Public Sector management. My strong networks and relationships with emergency services and health and medical providers in my area of responsibility are well established and highly functional including Aboriginal Health and service delivery to remote and vulnerable communities.I am an AHPRA Registered Intensive Care Paramedic with experience in rural and remote ambulance service delivery as well as recruitment, training and development of clinicians and leaders in SAAS.
