In defiance of apparent logic and the popular perspective of make believe that predominates the “About” section of LinkedIn profiles, I am going to attempt to be a bit more genuine. Apparently, I am viewed as having reached the point where after years and years of designing, executing, analyzing, and reporting research in developing enhancements for human protection and performance, people believe I have crossed some arbitrary line and forgotten all that I know. In addition, it seems the consensus is I no longer have the capacity or interest to learn anything new. Therefore, striking out with a new focus previously integral but secondary to the research efforts.Being blessed with interests, health, and a vitality that extends beyond the golf course at this point, I still have a desire to address challenges at least analogous to those from my research and business endeavors. Therefore, the emphasis is becoming imaging and data analysis supporting specific agendas. The creation of materials to help achieve objectives. Predominantly because I enjoy both. There is an art in the application of the technical aspects of the endeavors. Also, because each offers the opportunity to gain experience and develop advanced skills through resources readily available. Being conceptually open minded and appreciative of new: approaches, technologies, experiences, the list and volume of potential applications in these areas is functionally unlimited. This is important in that it is unlikely I will get stuck in a rut of doing the same thing over time. New day, find a new challenge and subsequent solution. One of the answers could easily be yours.
