As the Director of IT, I provide executive-level IT management of multiple sites in the Greater Delaware Valley. I am a proactive change agent that transitions sites from legacy systems to Prime Standard applications. I significantly modernize and upgrade multiple systems and applications to streamline operations and productivity, while minimizing costs. This also involves me consolidating and re-negotiating telecommunications contracts. One of my effective contributions include the creation of the Projects Committee. In my role on the committee, I delegate projects by priority. This has achieved multiple Meaningful Use Attestations. I also leveraged authority and knowledge as a HIPAA security officer to bolster IT security at numerous sites. Ways I’ve made an impact so far: Integrated successful transitions of Epic and new payroll, HR, and procurement applications.  Slashed personnel costs by 25% without interrupting quality service delivery.  Closed an average of 751 tickets per month with a small 6 FTE team.

As the Director of Information Technology, I was the Principal overseer of IT direction, strategic solutions, and driving business development initiatives. I consistently surpassed target benchmarks and goals, resulting in recognition and exemplary performance evaluations. I project-managed vital upgrades and integration that boosted efficiency and performance throughout the hospital. I also conceptualized and tracked application portfolios for each department and secured IT service level agreements. To further process and productivity, I evaluated and sustained existing enterprise systems and directed necessary upgrades/new software implementations. As a leader, I prioritized and delegated all operational assignments and projects. I also facilitated brainstorming with team members and deployed mission-critical IT solutions. Lastly, I collaborated with C-Level executives to extract problem areas, determine project budgets, and execute solutions. This also involved supervision of personnel in cross-functional departments.Highlight of my contributions in this role: Generated $2.4M dollar payout to the hospital by the successful attestation by Meaningful Use II team. Saved the hospital $250K annually through 3 personnel reductions and complete overhaul of systems.  Successfully integrated the following upgrades: MEDHOST EHR system, Pulsecheck Emergency Department EHR, Electronic Physician Documentation, and Patient Portal.  Achieved the highest Physician Satisfaction score of IT at any LHP site consecutively from 2013-2015.

In my role as the Technology Manager, I was progressively promoted into IT leadership due to superior management, technical innovation, and team efficiency as a Senior Systems Administrator prior. I became the primary leader of strategic project implementation and operational streamlining. I crafted and established standards for software development, report creation, naming conventions, documentation, and testing. I was also appointed to serve on the ad-hoc committee for the New Jersey State HIT Coordinator on Health Information Exchange Security. Ways I made a difference at Cape Regional include: Generated a multi-million dollar payment to the hospital through successful leadership of the Meaningful Use Team that attested the first year.  Spearheaded a systems upgrade project that cut the hardware capital budget by 10% for the year. Led a 15-member cross-functional technical team on several key projects for operational optimization. Expanded offices from 1 office and 2 physicians to 5 offices and 15 physicians within 18 months.  Served on the NJ Health Information Technology Security Workgroup (2011).  Appointed to the Security Committee of NJ SHINE of which Cape Regional was a founding member.  Delivered complete Siemens Soarian Clinical documentation oversight.  Successfully integrated Allscripts Ambulatory.

As the Senior Systems Administrator, I provided comprehensive systems administration on Microsoft Windows servers and desktops. I meticulously assessed existing system operations and equipment, identified areas of improvement, and implemented upgrades and new software accordingly. I also expertly managed the Active Directory Infrastructure, Exchange Server Systems, and other applications. As a solutions expert, I patched and resolved issues and delivered troubleshooting as needed.Highlights of my accomplishments:  Administered effective systems and operations to over 1200 desktops and users. Helmed direction of 16 IS Staff in all installations, maintenance, and data information.
