Conducted non-thermal plasma research ranging from fundamental scientific research to practical applications. Some of the fundamental research included investigating complex chemical reactions that occur in gaseous non-thermal plasma, plasma diagnostic techniques, and physics of plasma generation in liquids.Some of the practical applications investigated include carbon monoxide plasma processing, air sterilization, plasma-assisted fuel conversion, and plasma-assisted heavy oil upgrading.

As lead design engineer some of my responsibilities include the development of combined algae growth and energy production processes, analysis of feasibility and profitability of developed processes, and development of new energy efficient algal separation and harvesting technologies, and direct combustion techniques.
