Currently this includes Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Sierra Leone and Rwanda.• Responsible for coordinating the regional month and year-end close process.• Work with country affiliates to maintain the accounting structure and recordkeeping aligned with funder requirements and LABS accounting structure• Coordinate annual statutory compliance procedures, regional consolidation, funder audits and due diligence• Perform risk-based TB accounts review and ensure timely resolution in postings or omissions• Work with project teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and timely funder reporting• Review and advise on Country reporting partners document retention and financial systems• Guide Country Finance teams in developing suitable local management reporting and dashboards• Perform countries’ financial health check and analysis of financial statements and supporting schedules.• Provide advisory support on mitigating financial risks and developing corrective action plan• Contribute to projects' quarterly forecasts reviews by consolidation of country and program reports • Participate in recruitment in Finance and provide training and orientation• In consultation with Partnerships team, Operations and Global Head of Finance, assist Country finance team in compliance with donor requirements, internal policies and country specific local laws• Regularly update internal trackers maintained by Global Finance and other functions• Document financial processes and update relevant guidance and content on intranet Show less
