Responsibilities include organizing, scheduling and tracking maintenance of Northeast region News Gathering Helicopters which include Bell 206B3, 206L-4, and 407 helicopters, for multiple major news corporations. Communication and assignment for base staff of 20+ members, and coordination with corporate and regional bases. Assigning tasks between maintenance staff and line maintenance. Performing routine inspections and maintenance of aircraft, including main rotor and tail rotor assembly static and dynamic balance using string and balance and MicroVibII. Removal and installation of news gathering equipment, which includes Flir UMIII series, and Cineflex V14 camera systems. Also to complete necessary paperwork to return the aircraft to service. Daily duties include the repair of aircraft during inspection, ordering of parts, incoming parts inspection, and compliance of any special airworthiness bulletins and directives. Familiar with removal and installations of Rolls- Royce 250-C30P and C47B power plants on Bell airframes. Other duties include, building and grounds maintenance and management, coordinating contractors, gathering quotes and invoices and overseeing office construction. Provide and manage stock and inventory with aircraft parts and daily office supplies.

Responsibilities include maintenance and inspection of Medical Airvac Helicopters, Airbus EC135 platform under Part 135. Communications between pilots and medical flight team to coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime. Performing routine inspections and maintenance of aircraft to maintain airworthiness. Timely response with crew and medical team during emergency response coverage. Also to complete necessary paperwork to return the aircraft to service, and maintain proper record keeping to conform with regulations. Daily duties include the repair of aircraft during inspection, ordering of parts, incoming parts inspection, and compliance of any special airworthiness bulletins and directives.
