Designed and continually developed the American Literature curriculum, taught Drama, AP Literature, and piloted an ambitious Filmmaking curriculum for 18 years. • American Lit course combined project and discussion based work around a range of authors, including American playwrights, a grade-wide Drama project, arts installations, video projects, and critical theory panel discussions ‘in role’ with Karl Marx, Gloria Steinem, Freud, Foucault, Derrida, Audre Lorde, Chimamanda Adichie (and more) debating characters from The Scarlet Letter, The Great Gatsby, and Invisible Man.
