Robert is a highly skilled & experienced individual who now works on a part time basis at one of Scotland's top luxury hotels. Prior to this, Robert for many years combined a senior management position in the finance industry with a career in Scottish professional football. In his career in the Banking and Finance sector, Robert held senior positions in a range of departments & functions in Bank of Scotland, HBOS and latterly Lloyds Banking Group (LBG). In the final 10 years of his career at LBG, Robert was responsible for the successful delivery of a number of significant projects and programmes at both company and industry wide level. Robert also has a Members Degree from the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Scotland).In the world of professional football, Robert has a reputation for developing top quality goalkeepers. From his starting point at the youth academy at Celtic FC & working with Scotland International youth teams, to the 1st team at Clyde FC, Stenhousemuir FC, Ayr United FC, Annan Athletic FC, Rangers FC (Youth Academy), Dumbarton FC, and most recently Alloa Athletic FC, Robert has established himself as an excellent coach who improves the goalkeepers he works with. During his time in 1st Team football Robert has coached 3 different goalkeepers to Player of the Season Awards. Robert also holds the UEFA B Goalkeeping Licence awarded via the Scotland Football Association.Robert's track record of achievements, his wide range of skills, and his passion, commitment & drive for success has been evident throughout his career.
