Led and managed 140 federal law enforcement officers and support personnel to successfully accomplish NYFO’s three core missions – the provision of world-class executive protection for foreign VIPs, the conduct of criminal investigations involving passport and visa fraud, and the provision of security liaison for over 300 foreign diplomatic missions and consulates in/near New York City.Key Achievements:- Oversaw NYFO’s critical protective security and logistical support roles at the United Nations General Assembly Sessions 66 and 67 - DSS’s largest domestic operations for 2011 and 2012. - Enhanced DSS’s private sector outreach to corporations and non-profits in the greater New York area by establishing the OSAC New York Forum, which has over 400 members and growing.- Established professional developmental goals and performance measurement mechanisms to enhance officer equity, mentorship, performance, and productivity.

Directed and managed all facets of security for American Consulate General (ACG) Frankfurt – the 5th largest U.S. diplomatic post in the world, to protect life, property and information. Also oversaw the security programs for ACG Dusseldorf, the U.S. Defense Office in Bonn, and two International Broadcasting Bureau sites. Responsible for an $18 million security program with an annual operating budget of $10 million. Served as the Consul Generals’ principal security and law enforcement advisor. Supervised a security staff of 195 individuals to include DSS special agents, investigators, U.S. marines, surveillance detection specialists, and contract guards.Key Achievements:- Designed and oversaw operational adjustments and $2.1 million in various upgrades to considerably enhance security at a vulnerable, 29-acre residential complex, housing over 1,200 Americans.- Significantly enhanced security at three international schools by working with school officials to develop and rehearse emergency plans and by orchestrating $330,000 in security upgrades.- Seamlessly coordinated the security planning and support for the NATO Summit in Germany.

Amman, Jordan

Successfully led and managed all security operations and personnel for the U.S. Mission in Jordan with no loss of life or property during a period of critical threat. Served as the Ambassador’s principal security and law enforcement advisor. Responsible for an $8 million security program with an annual operating budget of $3 million. Supervised a security staff of 267 individuals to include DSS special agents, investigators, U.S. marines, bodyguards, contract guards, and specialists in technical security and surveillance detection.Key Achievements:- Enhanced Jordanian police capabilities by overseeing the U.S. government’s Anti-Terrorism Assistance (ATA) initiatives, which provided over $1 million in targeted police training and equipment deliveries. - Successfully worked with the hotel industry and the Jordanian government to enhance security for many major hotels in Amman following the November 9, 2005 hotel bombings.- Substantially modernized Embassy’s technical security infrastructure through $1 million in upgrades.
