Act as first level contact for customers seeking technical support with regards to purchased cable services. Provide exceptional customer service in order to exceed customers’ expectations and to minimize escalations by taking ownership of customer reported issues. Perform remote diagnostic procedures on customer equipment to troubleshoot internet, cable TV and phone issues.Perform callbacks to customers to gather additional information, keep the customer updated on the progress of their trouble, provide trouble history, inform the customer of a change management event. Create trouble tickets and assign work to different groups in the organization to assist in resolving issues.Work with vendors to open trouble tickets, check on the status and/or escalate trouble tickets. Take inbound customer trouble calls, chats and or other contact methods. Validate some initial troubleshooting and ensure all required information is gathered in the trouble ticket. Call the customer back to obtain further information if necessary.
