Senior Partner for KPMG Namibia and has have worked at KPMG for 30 years providing assurance, tax and advisory services to a range of organisations. This includes twenty-two years as a partner in Namibia. My duties include the management of the practice in Namibia, including strategic direction of KPMG in Namibia. In addition to this I fulfil the following roles:- Head of Audit- Head of Advisory and Tax- Risk management partner- Finance partnerAudit:My responsibilities have included the audit delivery of a number of international and local organisations as well as acting as audit lead partner for a number of large Namibian groups of companies. I have also been involved in Southern African audits as engagement quality review partner, supporting audit teams in executing quality audits. My main key focus sectors are Financial Services, Energy and Natural Resources and Consumer Markets.I have an extensive experience spanning a wide spectrum of clients, including long and short-term insurance, pension and retirement funds, asset management, unit trust management companies, banking, fast moving goods, and mining.Tax:I have headed up the tax department of KPMG Namibia from 2009 and have experience in advising clients on the tax considerations of transactions as well as assisting clients with their tax compliance matters.I am also an active member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Namibia's Tax and Accounting and Auditing Standards committees.
