Recruited, along with two fellow PFB Corp. executives, by the board of directors of Inventronics to invest in and take charge of this ailing public company in 2000. At its peak the company had 600 employees operating out of five locations on two continents with annualized sales of $70,000,000. Inventronics designs and manufactures metal enclosures and racking systems for customers in the telecommunications, electro-mechanical, power back-up and traffic control industries. Core manufacturing processes include metal fabrication, finishing, assembly and tooling.Operationally, held bottom line responsibility for all sales, marketing, manufacturing, engineering and administrative activities. At the corporate level, held equity and served on the Executive Management Team, with responsibility for strategic planning, finance, policies, budgets and the overall financial performance of the company. As a corporate officer, reported to the CEO and to the Board of Directors of this public corporation. Served on the board of directors from June 2009 to June 2010Highlights:Successfully turned this company around during a period of severe volatility in its principal market the telecommunications sector. Achieved substantial cost reductions by implementing LEAN enterprise principals, consolidating three operations into one and selling off non-strategic assets.Operations won SIX SIGMA and Supplier Performance awards in 2002 from 3M. Implemented comprehensive ERP, CRM and Health and Safety systems. Acquired a UK subsidiary. Annualized sales grew from $20,000,000 to $70,000,000 in 18 months.
