Profile bio

About Robert Griffiths

I have over 20 years’ experience in operational management and the successful programme/project management of large Infrastructure projects of National significance. I have experience of all stages throughout the project lifecycle, from identifying the need, developing the Business Case, optioneering, procurement and driving through delivery and benefits realisation.Having worked on large infrastructure programmes, I understand the importance of identifying and managing interfaces and implementing a robust change management process. Through the effective use of tools like gate reviews and performance tracking my project teams have been able to identify and manage delivery risks that could have threatened realisation of benefits. I have a wide experience of managing and influencing key stakeholders including Government Departments, Regulatory Bodies, Funders, MP’s, Councillors and members of the wider community. Through good communication and expectation setting, I have also been able to develop the right culture and behaviours for the management of health, safety and the environment throughout my project teams and this has been recognised and commended by previous Clients.I bring a range of experience in programme management and have used many different tools, procedures and processes to successfully deliver them. However, I also have a growing experience in the ‘softer’ side of programme management and developing the right culture and behaviours to break down silo’s and build a motivated high performance team that will help to maximise the potential of each member.

Listed skills include Operations Management, Project Portfolio Management, Program Management, Utilities, and 32 others.
