He is currently looking at Technical consultant/Technical support/ Management positions in Frankfurt, Germany. Currently intensively learning the German language. Also, to enable the ability to develop business with German , European and British companies post Brexit.The former commercial business manager for Natural Generation where he has surveyed, designed, utility planned & secured over £2.8M worth of new commercial solar, biomass and heat pump business for the company in three years (target £1.8M). Rob Grimsted started his career with a full mechanical technician apprenticeship with British Aerospace in Bristol learning all aspects of precision engineering practices whilst achieving an ONC & HNC in mechanical engineering. Following his apprenticeship Rob was responsible for the design, development and implementation of manufacturing processes for the production of multi-layered printed circuit boards for use in Aerospace missile guidance systems.He continued his career as technical sales engineer/manager/business positions with several blue chip companies incl. Linpac & Makita. He has over achieved every target in every position over 18 years, and has a great understanding of a wide range of businesses and manufacturing processes.He then moved down to Cornwall with his young family and in Cornwall he was director of a Property Improvements / plumbing and heating business installing over 100 heating systems. He also was responsible for three apprentices.....training and sponsoring 3 gas safe registered engineers to full accreditation over a period of 7 years. His company also achieved the accolade of Investers in People.
