Guided utility company joint ventures with technology partners, serving in advisory and strategic planning roles for senior management teams. Managed strategic planning processes for both private companies and non-profit organizations, helping set new or revitalized directions.

Senior member of a Northwest management consulting firm focused on energy utilities, telecommunications, and government. Managed a series of highly visible research and planning projects, including business planning efforts for new telecommunications companies; demand side management studies for B.C. Hydro, Washington Water Power, and Seattle City Light; and research projects for Washington State’s Department of Transportation and Department of Community Development.

Managed the Plan’s implementation, including supervising major capital acquisition projects and guiding the restructuring of operations.

Helped the company grow from six employees to over one hundred, developing a sales management and tracking system, a 16-department budgeting and reporting system, analyzing a company acquisition, and managing IT system needs.
