20 years working in the field of drug and alcohol recovery, with experience working and managing in Therapeutic Communities, Re-hab, Supported Housing units, Day Programmes, workshop programmes, and outreach.I have a special interest in "Community" and how people in communities deal with problems. I have a Diploma in the Psychodynamics of Organisations, and I bring that approach to my understanding of how teams work, how people relate to their environment, and how good communal relations provide a healthy environment for people to grow and develop. I have experience in providing clinical support to teams working in social care environments, and of providing 1:1 supervision, with this background.I am particularly interested in how people deal with their life challenges, and I have developed my own insights that are based upon validation and my own radical ideas. I am pleased to be a part of the delivery of Social care, and I regret the passing of broad communal and social values, and the rise of economic libertarian and market lead values. I don't believe that "markets" exist!
