During my time as a Manufacturing Systems Engineer at 3M, I gained extensive experience in bringing together various software sub-systems to create a single system for the end user. I was responsible for migrating legacy systems to new database systems, and I was instrumental in integrating SAP into our current application to replace 3M's current MES Application and Database. My experience with enterprise-level databases and integration with applications, as well as with industrial controllers and their programming languages, would be valuable assets to your team.In addition to my work experience, I am also passionate about creating projects and developing with IoT devices like Particle IO, Arduino, and Raspberry PI. I have utilized local and cloud databases via API and have even designed, built, and programmed my own 3D printers for creating all parts for my projects. Some of my past projects include designing and building a satellite tracking antenna to capture weather imagery from GEOS satellite as they fly by. I also make remote soil and air monitoring systems using Particle cellular IoT devices and solar panels to push data to cloud services that are used to monitor crops at some local farms in my area.
