With over 20 years experience in heavy industry ranging from primary metals, water treatment, hydrocarbon and mineral processing I am a results driven person with a demonstrated capability to understand and improve a variety of industrial processes.I have a strong belief in people going home safely to their families and my safety leadership has delivered improvements through people development, workplace observations and hazard reduction projects.My operational experience in primary metals extends across the broad categories of pyro and hydro-metallurgy with exposure to Nickel, Lead, Zinc, Copper, Iron, and Gold. Experience in industrial water treatment, power generation, hydrocarbon and mineral process treatment and mineral processing has also been acquired. I have experience with plant design, commissioning and operation, in addition to the implementation of both continuous and step change using improvement tools such as Six Sigma & Lean.With experience in managing budgets, from both a sales and a spend perspective, I have successfully managed sales growth and cost control of multi-million dollar budgets.I have a track record of technical and operational leadership of teams, large and small. I have developed and implemented strategies delivering results in the areas of safety, production and financial control.
