I am migrating a decade-old VB6 thick-client monolith of an app, which touches every aspect of the business, to several smaller internal ASP.NET MVC web apps. Also, I have built a message-based architecture (MSMQ) using virtualized application servers to isolate some volatile third-party dependencies and, at the same time, provide a level of scalability.

Helped build a.NET customer-facing website to allow residential cable customers a way to "sign" contracts electronically. Back-end was a SQL Server for local persistence, plus two SalesForce REST-driven web services for account details.

An attempt to cash in on the social media craze. The site we built was decent -- ASP.NET with a MySQL database, with Ajax, Facebook integration, and ads which we rotated through a couple of different vendors. Biggest mistake: not figuring out how to monetize it BEFORE building it. Many lessons learned!
