Robert founded EPC Lens and Iscient following 23 years of progressive professional experience in capital programs across Canada, the USA, and Internationally. He has developed and led commercial and execution strategies for marquee and business-critical projects in mining, oil, refining and power generation, including renewables. His work has also been foundational for improving project execution efficiency, navigating markets and transforming business organizations for major international producers, and for individual engineering, procurement and construction companies. In pursuit of better performance, Robert invented numerous innovative processes – enabled by evolving information technology - to improve project and program delivery. Many of these practical step-change solutions were integrated into the EPC Lens suite in 2015, and since 2019 have been implemented in Canadian industries. In 2021, Robert has commenced similar development in West Africa, USA and MENA, all in support of continued industry advancement, technical innovation and socio-economic responsibility, Robert is the foundational partner for Capex Science, a global non-profit institution for the promotion and catalyst of industry development through industrial and academic collaboration. He also researches, writes and presents on matters of politics, policy, strategic planning, project management, supply chain, risk management, emergent information technology and prediction science ('Interim AI', 2019; 'The Next 10 Seconds', 2021)
