 Manage a team of 7 buyers covering raw material to machine complete parts. This team has done the following items: Drove the supply chain to be on PO schedule which eliminated a $1.5-million-dollar backlog with our customers and lowering expedite costs by 80%. Achieved over $10 million in reduction of inventory even with the reduction in rate of aircrafts from our customers. Optimized our supply base to reach over $2 million in PPV for the last two years Implemented process improvement activities that found gaps in our customer lead times vs. our supply lead time, as well as created automated open order reports. Performed margin analysis negative margin parts by working with suppliers on MOQs or process improvements to reduce component cost. Created a monthly S&OP meeting with management team to align our monthly goals and be able to hit our Sales/budget targets. Executed work transfers for multiple suppliers to lower cost, mitigate risk, and reduce lead time. We were able to complete these projects on time to ensure customer orders were not missed.

 Created and executed plan to move our Everett facility to the Philippines; Completed within1 year and ahead of schedule and without missing a customer on-dock date by using TWI training method.  Managed a team of 4 Buyers, 2 MEs, 1 Production Supervisor, 2 Planners, and 2 CSRs. Initiated planning team to convert planning process from customer demand planning to forecasted demand planning. By doing this we were able to reduce expedites to suppliers by 15% and able to accept 98% of customer pull-ins. Empowered the MEs to make small improvements to one of the production lines to increase the utilization by 12% over 3 month period using Yamazumi charts, time studies and 5S Fostered a one team mentality to ensure that the team worked together to meet our goals for 2018 and on track for 2019. Constructed a single manufacturing line for multiple products, which was originally built at 2 facilities, which met Customer Takt time through cycle time analysis, Kanbans, and value stream mapping.  Orchestrated a team to create our Andon light and escalation process. This reduced our down time greatly Set up the inventory racking and flow of the product in our Philippines site.  Coordinated daily cycle with a monthly accuracy above 99% using ABC method to count.

 Managed a team of 4 Inspectors, 2 Quality Technicians, and 3 Quality Engineers Developed receiving inspection KPI metrics and AQL, and performed Kaizen events which decreased average days aging in inspection from 4 to 2 and reduced premium pay by 50% monthly Implemented Customer NCR reduction team to lower the number of NCRs. From 2016 to 2017, we saw a 10% decrease in NCRs and our quality score increased to 99.93% Increased our First Pass Yield to over 98% by creating a cross functional team that performed corrective and preventative actions for reoccurring issues. Championed using SPC for the clean room to fill oxygen cylinders to ensure the safety of the employees and future users of the product.  Updated Quality Management system to have delegated inspectors for our FAA-PMA parts

Performed change of charges as necessary.
