Responsible for assistance in planning, coordinating, and synchronizing Army and joint fires in support of Operation Spartan Shield (OSS) and Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR). Coordinates with Combined Joint Task Force-OIR, Special Operations Joint Task Force-OIR, and Task Force Spartan-OSS fire support cells to integrate fires into each supported organizations concept of operations. Works with staff officers and senior enlisted soldiers to meet all required mission needs of 87 active-duty soldiers assigned to the battery. Ensures unit is prepared for deployment.
