Although I have a teaching degree, most of my career has been in sales, sales training, and marketing. Networking and prospecting come as naturally to me as putting on my pants in the morning. Have earned many top sales awards including Calgary Homebuilders’ Association “SAM Award” (Marketing Person of the Year). I tried retirement to pursue the hobbies I love but realize that this people person needs to be where the action is.Throughout my working career, I have also taken the opportunity to use my teaching and personal skills to work with young people. Some of these opportunities were:• CHADD – (Children and Adults with ADHD) - Facilitator at Calgary Children’s Hospital for monthly support meetings- Helped market ADHD conference at University of Calgary and served as Master of Ceremonies• Servants Anonymous Society - Recovery group for young female survivors of prostitution • The Back Door – Supporting street youth choosing to rejoin society• Sylysyrk Kidzfun - Created and performed weekly kids’ song and puppet shows.• Sault Junior Naturalist Club - Citation from the Federation of Ontario Naturalists for founding the first Naturalist Club for youth in Ontario.
