Hired by the firm to start up a Private Credit Direct Lending business from an operational perspective to be able to lend to corporate clients from new & existing funds under management. The Private Credit Direct Lending Group is responsible for originating/underwriting/syndicating several types of transactions, such as Aviation Loans & Leases, Corporate Direct Lending Loans, Asset Backed Direct Lending, Specialty Finance Loans, Private Placements and Real Estate Backed Loans.Using my knowledge and expertise to document process flows & procedures, roles & responsibilities, internal controls, provide end to end support, engage service vendors & custodian banks, and guide the internal support areas of the organization. Provide strategic input around the lending support model that provides a low-cost structure and valuable services to both internal and external clients. Responsible for closing all Private Credit Direct Lending transactions timely, accurately, and successfully to meet client demands and the needs of the business partners. Involved in the transaction from the beginning stages of pipeline through till settlement and on-going loan lifecycle activities. Review all types of loan and fund documentation.Implemented and utilized Sentry to book all loans and activity.Reconcile cash and holdings with administrative agents, custodian banks and third-party servicers Collaborate with key stakeholders including the Deal team, Capital Formation team, internal and external counsel, risk & valuations team, operations, treasury, tax and accounting. Coordinate all operational aspects of a CLO warehouse line of credit. Perform waterfall calculations, borrowing base calculations, advance drawdowns, monitor underlying collateral pools and monthly servicing reports.Played a major role in launching the firm’s first ABS Securitization/Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) transaction in 2023.

Involved in setting up a new billion Private Credit Direct Lending Fund within the Credit Suisse Asset Management umbrella, utilizing my knowledge and expertise to document a project plan, create process flows & procedures, engage service vendors & custodian banks and guide the fund management team to a go live deadline.Oversight of all CSAM accounts including CLO’s, Separate Managed Accounts, 40 Act Funds andERISA Funds, both US and International with total AUM of around $70 billion.Provided daily trade support for all CSAM fund fixed income products that consist of mostly leveragedloans, with a smaller portion being made up of ABS, bonds and FX for hedging purposes.Collaborated with all CSAM support areas (legal, compliance, business, operations) in the review ofnew fund documents to ensure our ability to facilitate the required tasks operationally.Engaged with service providers, custodian banks, trustees and other vendors around problems andissues, reconciliation breaks, settlement issues, reporting requirements and cash balance issues.Responsible for client Capital calls, Advance Rate calculations and borrowings for new CLO warehouses, in which funds are borrowed from bank provided warehouse lines of credit and client capital calls.Responsible for all stages of distressed assets (restructure, liquidation, etc) within the managed funds.Utilized a system called BlackMountain/AllVue for fund positions, values, open trades and reporting.

 Oversee and responsible for the operational areas of the Loan Syndication Sales & Trading businessline, which includes Loan Capital Markets Underwriting, Par & Distressed trading, CLO, Middle Markets, and Loan TRS. Supervise loan operation trade settlements, loan participation servicing and administrative agencyservicing groups. Manage a global outsourced group of loan closers to settle; all Primary and Secondary Trades,complicated transactions, Loan Total Return Swap Hedges, Private Securities, Trade Claims, andMiddle Market Loans. Coordinate with third party servicers, trustees, SPV’s and clients, related to client statements,management reports, break reports, collateral, pricing, servicing and reconciliations. Support CLO Securitization, Structuring and Underwriting.  Liaise and coordinate business activities regularly with operations, product control, risk management,credit management, legal & compliance and senior business leaders. Lead organizer of all facets of the businesses from post trade/deal execution through settlement ofcash for all primary and secondary transactions. Responsible for the startup of Middle Market Direct Lending and proprietary trading businesseswithin the Leverage Finance area. Used my expertise and industry knowledge to build these businesses and platforms till revenue producing stages. Established policies, controls, processes and procedures to manage operational risks and limitoperational losses. Advise the LSTA (Loan Syndications Trading Association) on many different industry issues andobjectives and serve on several of their committees. Execute and implement cost cutting initiatives and outsourcing capabilities. Facilitate all distressed loan restructurings involving the conversion of loans into new loans, securities,and cash distributions. Designed and implemented internal and external technology projects. Involved in loan industry initiatives and key stakeholders for future innovations.
