I love learning and communicating through a host of different languages and platforms. A native English speaker, I studied French in middle school, high school, and college before learning Japanese while living abroad. I've studied music my whole life as a clarinetist and conductor and have organized concerts as a way for living composers to speak with audiences though their music.Over the past couple of years, I've studied and used a variety of programming languages and frameworks, mostly Ruby on Rails, React, and Next.js. While attending the Turing School of Software and Design, I learned to talk about code and its impact on others. As the engineer with Fixate.io, I built multiple APIs, including an integration with Chat-GPT, and the frontend dashboard. In my free time, I've been building a concert management application (using Next.js and Prisma) that will greatly simplify the work for the usually small-scale production teams of classical music organizations. Ask me for demos of either of these projects! Speaking of concerts, I put on concerts myself as a classically trained clarinetist and conductor.Learning a language is just the pre-work.
