    I was promoted to this position from EVP, Sales & Marketing. As General Manager of the Process Analyzers line of business, I am responsible for all activities at the Upland CA site which include manufacturing operations, quality, production planning and procurement, program and projects engineering, R&D, applications engineering and product management. In addition, I have dotted line responsibilities including finance and accounting as well as sales and marketing activities which are shared activities within the LoB. During my tenure as GM, I have specifically overseen the integration of my former business (AIT) which was acquired by Schneider Electric in 2016. This included the integration of sales and marketing operations, the legal entity merger of the AIT corporation to Schneider Electric Systems USA, Inc. and the migration of Microsoft NAV Dynamics to the SAP ERP platform. Other key successes included leading the team that developed the ISA 2019 Product of the Year, the MGA 1200CS Process Mass Spectrometer. In addition, during this time we finalized the development of another new product, the FXI Series 7 Process GC and introduced that to the market.Process Analyzers is organized within the Process Analyzers and Instrumentation Line of Business that is managed under the Process Automation division within Schneider Electric. Our key products include FTIR/FT-NIR, Mass Spectrometers, Gas Chromatographs and Advanced Inferential Analyzers. Our technologies are multi-component and multi-stream analyzers capable of providing detailed chemical composition and physical property analysis of refining, petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, biotech and environmental processes. Key applications include analysis of gasoline and diesel blending streams, ethylene cracking processes, LNG, microbial fermentation, blast furnace top gas and ambient and stack air analysis.

We provide on-line real-time analytical technologies including:-- FTIR-- Process Mass Spectrometry-- Gas Chromatography-- NIR-- Raman-- Sample Conditioning Systems-- Chemometric ModelingOur products optimize industrial processes in the refining, biofuels, petrochemical, fuel cell, chemical, steel and pharmaceutical/biotechnology sectors.At Schneider Electric I was responsible for the global sales and marketing efforts along with integrating the AIT business into the Schneider Electric Process Automation organization. I was a founding partner of Applied Instrument Technologies, Inc., a manufacturer of process analyzers that was established in October 2010 through an asset sale of various process analyzer technologies owned by United Technologies Corporation, Hamilton Sundstrand division. Operated by myself and another managing partner, the business was set up with financing from an angel investor in the semiconductor tooling space. Schneider Electric acquired Applied Instrument Technologies, Inc (AIT) in October 2016 and subsequently converted the California Subchapter S Corp and merged it into the Schneider Electric Systems USA, Inc. legal entity, thus dissolving the Applied Instrument Technologies, Inc. corporation. When my partner and myself started up AIT as a new corporation in 2010, this required constructing and establishing a new manufacturing facility (29K SF) in Upland CA, implementing a new NAV Dynamics ERP to manage manufacturing and accounting operations, building out a gas phase test facility operations with local fire department permitting, creating an engineering vault leveraging ProductCenter and creating a CRM system leveraging Salesforce.com. When we sold in 2016, we analyzers in 7 of the 10 largest US refineries and 8 out of 10 of the largest US pharma companies.
