About Robert Hinderer
I am a teacher. Throughout my life I have been drawn to roles that provided me the ability to work with people so that they, or we, could become better. I use my critical thinking and problem solving skills to develop lessons that challenge students to discover their own answers, while they gain skills in the computer lab, online or in a wood shop. At the same time I work with fellow staff members to ensure that the school is moving in a direction that will make it a successful work environment for everyone that walks through the doors.I am a certified Project Lead the Way instructor and have many years experience adapting and teaching a wide variety of topics with a project based learning flair. Currently I am teaching Metalworking, Woodworking and Computer Applications, but have extensive knowledge teaching Gateway to Technology (PLTW), engineering design, robotics, and programming.
