I run and own the farm business. We have diversified into different enterprises. These consist of growing Miscanthus for bio fuel, growing Christmas trees for retail sales, growing poplar trees for kindling and calf rearing for blade farming. We are always looking for the next project to add to our growing business.

My role was a new role within a new trading area for the company. Buying and selling from my own original customers and also opening new accounts. My area covers Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.My role includes grain trading, fertiliser sales, cereal seed sales and game feed sales. I work with my customers very closely put the right product on farm.I also help my customers taking soil samples. Put together nutrient management plans using RB209 and working out cropping plans.

My role within Mole Valley was a new role for the area as a Forage Specialist, I have put together a customer list from approaching farmers within my area, I cover a large area within Gloucestershire & Wiltshire.I offer a variety of services to my customers which range from providing them with advice & information on the right type of fertiliser to be used and where to use it to completing a soil sampling service which in effect will also help determine the correct type of fertiliser. I am also able to offer advice on their existing FYM and the most efficient use for it.Once soil sample analyses are complete and the results are returned to me from our labs I am able to put together nutrient plan for both grasslands & arable crops using RB209. To ensure a happy & satisfied customer I also return to the farm approximately 4-6 weeks after the fertiliser has been applied to ensure that the customer is using the product correctly and that they are 100% happy with the product that they are using.

As a Sales Coordinator I was responsible for managing and retaining existing customers whether this was providing them with product advice or processing their orders. I communicated with these customers over the telephone, via email & I also did site visits so my communication skills both written & oral as well as building a good customer rapport were a vital part of my role.Orders were processed & ran smoothly as I had to maintain the stock levels of each product so that the correct mixes could be put together which then resulted in the customer receiving their order providing whilst receiving a prompt and efficient service.I used an in-house software to maintain stock levels & to process orders.In addition to managing the existing customers, I also approached & welcomed new customers providing them with the information they may need whilst building a strong rapport, which created the prospect of repeated business in the future.My communication skills & ability to gain new business means I can meet the challenging company targets
