I have spent the last 23 years working in the marine and transport sector. I started out crewing on superyachts before becoming a navigation officer in the merchant navy; after which I worked for a third party yacht manager.I have been at Thomas Miller for the last 16 years which has included ITIC and TT Club (both Thomas Miller companies). I am currently the General Manager of ITIC. ITIC insures professionals in the aviation, marine, and energy sectors. I have a specific expertise insuring super yacht professionals, naval architects, marine engineers and those in the energy sector. I am responsible for Monaco, Greece, Southeast Asia, UK and Malta.I currently sit on two BIMCO documentary panels. One updating the SHIPMAN agreement and the other drafting a new management agreement for autonomous ships. I also provide training to ship managers through BIMCO’s Masterclass training programme. I regularly write articles on ship management for Ship Management International.
