Responsible for sales and marketing activities of the OEM and OES filter business for automotive, off-road, heavy duty and agricultural equipment and for achieving the growth and profitability and targets of this business.

Overview:Responsible to lead all automotive engineering activities to meet customer requirements to include the application and development of new products, collaboration with customers for new automotive programs, maintenance of current products and liaison with engineering counterparts in other regions.Responsibilities Include:Leading automotive air filter projects to ensure that all technical deliverables and program schedules are met. Such projects encompass cabin air and engine air intake filters used in passenger cars, light trucks, and heavy duty trucks.Liaison with customers, suppliers and internal departments on the design, processing, testing, quality, production and delivery issues to assure a smooth transition from concept through production.Develop automotive air filter products and technologies to maintain technical leadership and economic advantage in the marketplaceWhile not being directly responsible for NA testing labs, maintain knowledge on relevant test procedures and help to prioritize projects. Support Marketing and Sales with design proposals, cost estimations and technical input for preparing quotations, technical presentations to customers. Ensure compliance with applicable Quality Systems, timely submission of PPAP’s to customers and adherence to the APQP requirements. Lead technical investigations into additional automotive segments such as agriculture, construction and buses, to ascertain opportunities for filtration products.

Responsible for coordinating, reporting and carrying out test requests for Automotive HVAC modules and related components.Specifically assigned to requests related to temperature control curves/linearity, individual air quantities, heat pick up, and other development requests on test stands in validation lab.Also responsible for requests related to module leakage such as door/flap, case, and evaporator/heater bypass. Familiar with data acquisition, instrumentation, and automation.

Responsible for working to meet performance targets on development HVAC modules by working with the testing, cfd, and prototype groups in order to validate the HVAC design.
