One of our team strengths is overcoming the loss of employment issues where council's try to resist the loss of sites that fall into the employment class.We also have vast experience in land assembly and have over the years pieced together dozens of assemblies and have successfully achieved planning.We have just achieved planning on an industrial site in Croydon, the planning is for the demolition of two warehouses and the erection of a part 1,2,3 and 4 storey building consisting of 29 flats. The Croydon Council fought us fiercely , resisting the loss of employment, but we eventually prevailed. Demolition works commence on the 21st of March. One of our new projects is a site in Hampton Hill for 16 flats. We are currently carrying out a marketing exercise to demonstrate to Richmond Council that the current employment use is poorly located and no longer in demand. Planning will be submitted, in due course, for the demolition of part of the existing premises and the erection of 12 flats in two small blocks. Part of the site is a pretty, period former house, which will be retained and extended to provide 4 new stunning apartments.Another site that we are very excited about is the redevelopment of a 2.5 acre business park, which was formerly a chicken farm located in the stunning, rural, setting of Norwood Hill, Surrey. The site is currently a dozen commercial buildings, sitting on a huge concrete slab, some of which house some very inappropriate uses in the greenbelt. Our proposal is to demolish the commercial units, grub up the slab then construct 3 small farmstead courtyards consisting of 10 houses. We think the completed development will be stunning!
