I have specialised in employment law since September 2000 when I qualified as a solicitor. I have a wealth of experience, advising on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. I have a particular interest in diversity issues, executive severance and large-scale business re-organisation. I have a strong track record in successfully defending Employment Tribunal cases but where possible, I seek to resolve workplace disputes through conciliation and mediation. I have presented numerous employment law training sessions and workshops for human resources teams, occupational health and line management. I am regularly invited to be a guest-speaker at seminars on a wide variety of employment law topics and have written articles for various publications. For the last five years, I have lectured on the employment law module of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) course at Swansea Metropolitan University. I am a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Discrimination Law Association.
