My career is built from 22+ years’ experience at CGI, CP Rail and Nortel Networks in areas of Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Contract / Vendor Management and Asset Management. My decisions are based not only on the best available information at that time, but also contain a holistic element; decisions are based on what’s best for the company. My Asset Management role had me engaged in implementing the first IT Asset Management system within CP. The system implemented will allow CP to move its Network to 100% current Technology. 3 years in Vendor Management honed my skills of building supplier relationships and extracting maximum value from our multi-million dollar contracts. Prior to this, I spent 11 years in roles such as Category Manager, Sourcing Specialist, and Procurement Specialist. Vendor ManagerCanadian Pacific Railway Sep 2011 - Sep 2014Calgary, Alberta, Ca-Successful in the implementation of Governance framework across 7 major North American Telecom suppliers. -Ensured contractual requirements, KPI’s, legal compliance, price and (most importantly) value were all achieved according to each specific contract. -Tracked and reported monthly internally to senior team.
