Core market loans include loans to (1) purchase rural land/recreational property including construction on the property, (2) finance agribusiness concerns, (3) finance farm equipment, and (4) finance cattle, crops, etc. I have lived in Fort Worth and Parker county since 2000. As a coop, we pay cash patronage dividends to our borrowers/stockholders as we perform financially. The dividends we pay are in addition to our already low interest rates. This is unique to the cooperative model. We also hold the loans we originate for the life of the loan meaning that your loan will not be transferred to other servicers.
