I work part time in private practice. I have also worked in community mental health and psychatric rehabilitation settings. Most of my career i have worked with people experiencing acute mental health distress. More recently i worked with refugees and asylum seekers. I currently work in part time positions as a private contractor at CARE Waitakere and at Man Alive deliverying individual psychotherapy and as a facilitator of non violence programmes.I am exploring alternative forms of working with the psyche and the body that come from my experience with Systema a Russian martial self development system.I have facilitated Dialectical behavioural groups, psychotherapy groups, mindfulness groups, and mens groups. I have also taught Taiji and assisted with teaching children's Angola Capoeira classes.
