I have had a long and wonderful career in pubic education with more than 30 years teaching high school social studies. I augmented that with a 10 year career in adult education with the University of Alberta teaching foreign students English language skills. Further, I have provided tutoring services to both adults and secondary schools children over the past few years.After I left public education I also explored and worked as a sales associate with two different sporting goods stores in Edmonton. I’m a very active person and my communication skills learned from teaching were most helpful. I really enjoyed working with customers and finding out about their needs and helping them find sports gear that met those needs.
