Bi Programme Implementation Lead

Bedfordshire Luton And Milton Keynes Ccg

Milton Keynes, England, United Kingdom

A part of my role is to support the Assistant Director of Contracting and BI with the wider BI team aspects of the implementation of BI programmes that support the CCG BI strategy. I very often assist with regards to procurements of services and will often be the BI lead with regards to CCG procurements such as Digital Solutions for Individual Commissioning as well as other procurements.I work with array of directorates and teams covering a large remit such as Population Health Management (PHM), which is a multiple disciplinary team across the ICS developing PHM reporting and have been registered in a PHM analytical skill set survey for the ICS that was conducted by Public Health England. I have worked closely with Continuing Health Care teams and other clinical teams with regards to implementing Digital Solutions project as a Project Manager assisting the Project Lead with regards to mobilisation. I have help support Finance, Contracting, Commissioning and the CSU BI team in developing the Contract Finance Reporting, developing the CLAIMs and Reconciliation Process.I have also developed and produce project plans in relation to BI projects and deliver these in partnership with other members of the CCG and partner organisations. I help project manage with regards to assigning task, monitor delivery, identify and mitigate risks and issues all within a secure timely delivery. I represent the CCG operational BI team at relevant meetings and help with managing delivery plans and have helped with development planning alongside members of the CCG from Primary Care to Finance and the CSU BI teams. Part of my role is also to manage expectations and be able to clearly communicate with colleagues and clarify the amount of work needed to go into a project and help set prioritisation of work loads. I enjoy working as apart of a Multiple Disciplinary Team (MDT) and enjoy a challenge. The tools I use are Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Office, etc.

Contract Analyst

Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group (Ccg)

Milton Keynes, United Kingdom

I generally help to analysis data and make it into information reports that help guide the CCG into making business decisions. I deal with quite an array of data from all 3 SUS Commissioning Data Sets (A&E, Outpatients and Inpatients) to individual local supplied information such as the Acute Service Level Agreement Monitoring (SLAM) and other community dataset from Mental Health to Ambulance PTS. I assist and supporting my work colleagues (from all levels of the CCG) with regards to many different areas of commissioning support and monitoring for example assisting and supporting Senior Contract Managers deal with looking into possible coding changes to helping Urgent Care Manager understand current activity and forecast future possible activity trends. Because of my previous experience within the NHS I mainly concentrate on the Acute Contracts but I will also assist when required my colleagues that work within the community contracts. I have created and maintained Highlight Report that have assisted with Joint Finance, Information Group (JFIG) Meetings between Acute provider and CCG, were I present my findings and take feedback / requests away to investigate / deep dives into areas that interested the group and feedback my findings. I have trained CCG colleagues Microsoft Excel and helped analysis survey responses on behalf of the CCG. I try and automate regular reports with using store procedures or view in the SQL database and then I just have to refresh my Excel reports (that are linked to the views and tables) and quality assure the results. I present my work clearly using graphs, tables and text so that it is easy for any reader to understand the results. The analytical tools I use to analyses are Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint), etc.

Principal Information Analyst

Northampton, United Kingdom

Deputising as for Information Lead when required with regards to the Contracting / Performance Commissioning Intelligence Team for Arden & GEM CSU. Roles involved monthly reconciliation with regards to two main acute Trusts and two local CCG's, running other monthly reports within tight timescales and communicating with CCG colleagues on a regular basis. I had also been incredibly involved in the Yearly Capacity Planning, Impact Analysis for both CCG's and their possible performance forecasts with reference to the two local Acute Trusts. I was also heavily involved with the development of corporate and ad-hoc reports with regards to the two CCG's performance in reference to the two main contracted Acute Trusts. I produced and presented a monthly activity report comparing actual against plan and also current month against previous month that highlighted any major changes and possible reason why that could result in a deep dive for further information, the report was down to Health Resource Group (HRG) level by specialty and POD. I also presented the Monthly Challenges Report that would highlight possible claims against the Acute Trusts and how much we are potentially going challenge and our claims balance for previous months. I automate a lot of my datasets / results using store procedures or views as it reduced the reproduction time of the datasets and linking to the Excel spreadsheet quickened up the refresh instead of copying and pasting large amounts of data over each month. However data quality checking was always a key aspect before realising the reports to the customer. The analytical tools I use to analyses are Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint), Tableau, etc.

Information & Data Quality Manager

As the Information Manager of an Acute Trust I previously managed an Information Team, which looked after the Divisions and Directorate reporting Trust wide. I prioritised my own and the team’s workload, with the new financial year I had to set up the new scorecards and dashboard that were used within the Trust. I attended Directorate and Divisional monthly / weekly meetings to talk about the results/findings on the scorecards. I worked on documentation like Terms Of Reference (TOR) for working groups I had setup and helped revised departmental strategies and policies, reviewing annually or when needed. I communicated and sent out information reports to all levels of staff within the Trust, including Directors, Nurses and Modern Matrons, etc. I was included in a lot of working groups/meetings due to the expertise and information knowledge I could contribute. I was also able to steer these groups by giving recommendations and direction using my knowledge and experiences. I was the information lead in a weekly Trust Performance Meeting working with leads from each speciality and going through the weekly produced report, which covered a wide range of individual reports such as Referral To Treatment, No OPCS Codes, Ethnicity, Outpatients DNA Cancellations and rescheduled appointments, possible 28 week breaches (without TCI dates), etc. I participated and completed the NHS Emerging Leadership course, which was organised by the University of Nottingham, which ran for 12 months.

I managed the IMPaCT / Transformation database on the departments server, and I ran overnight jobs in schedules to bring in all the information from other Acute Trust Databases for example Theatres database, Informatics database / data warehouse (PAS information) and IT database (Bed system information).
