Software engineer on the Apex Fintech Solutions trade execution team with two years experience maintaining a high throughput fractional-trading application and transitioning the software to the cloud. Primarily work with Java, Kafka Streams, gRPC, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.My education is in math and economics from Reed College where I wrote my thesis on simulating auctions to demonstrate the bounds on welfare when at equilibrium set forth in the literature (Price of Anarchy analysis). A few relevant courses to my current work include algorithms, computability and complexity, cryptography, vector calculus, and deep learning which helped make up the math part of my degree.
