Robert Douglas (Doug) Irving Industry BiographyBegan my business career in 1973 with Allied Tower Company, located in Houston, TX. Allied manufacturers solid rod towers, and considered at the time to be the premier manufacturer of towers. Earned the title of Senior Purchasing Agent and over the next 9 years, through my field experience, devotion and tenacity, contributed to the tremendous growth and success of the company. During the next 13 years, promoted to Vice President of Allied Tower's sister company, Bowen Smith Corporation, which managed and developed over 160 rental sites. In1994 the company was sold to American Tower Corporation, where I remained until 2001 as Southwest Regional Marketing Manager. The last eight years involved in a series of consulting & contract engagements; providing my expertise, marketing abilities and tower knowledge to a number of communications service related companies, which resulted in an increase of business and profitability to those companies.
