Apprenticeship tutor covering the Yorkshire area. I was responsible for a varied caseload of level 2 and 3 standards, and all learners who reached EPA achieved, with the majority gaining distinction. During this time, I created schemes of work and many of the resources that my fellow trainers used to help with delivery. I worked remotely and face to face to ensure to ensure that learners achieved in a timely manner and received the support that they required. My role required me to; Work closely with end point assessment organisations to ensure quality delivery Deliver relevant units of competence and asses learners progress on apprenticeships Create enjoyable and informative teaching sessions, embedding equality and diversity and ensuring criteria has been covered Monitor and ensure 20% off the job learning was met and recorded Deliver functional skills and technical certificates Visit and asses learners in the workplace Review progress of learners Deliver level 2 food safety Initially asses’ learners and employers to ensure the standard is suitable for both. My role involved managing accounts in the North East of England for Burtons Foods, worth in excess of 1 million pounds to the company. These accounts were primarily cash and carry’s and delivered wholesalers, and the territory consisted of over 70 businesses. Primarily I was responsible for the ordering of Burton’s products into the majority of these accounts, and ensuring they adhere to agreements made between themselves and Burtons Foods. I was also responsible for finding and developing new business. Within calls my standard KRA were based around developing the Burtons brand portfolio by checking stock levels, distribution, availability and gaining incremental displays and facings. The role involved working to targets, managing a personal budget and working with a team of RDE’s to ensure that I drove sales of Burton’s products in my area. At the time of leaving this role, I was the leading BDM within the company and my area was showing a growth of 25% YOY.
